Afghanistan was once again hit by a terrorist attack, this time at a minority Shia mosque in the western province of Herat. The death toll is estimated around 100 with more than 50 injured in what is believed to be a suicide bombing.
Shias are the minority in the Sunni dominated country, and are under constant danger from ISIS who target Shia controlled provinces. Yesterday the Iraqi embassy in Kabul was the site of a terrorist attack coordinated by ISIS which killed two people.
