Co-Founder of Tea Party Movement Named Netherlands Ambassador

Donald Trump’s pick for U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands, Pete Hoekstra, was one of the founders of the conservative Tea Party movement and has been a staunch opponent of gay rights, refugees and Islam. Even though Hoekstra was born in the Netherlands, he left when he was three years old and does not represent the liberal values of the country.

Netherlands was the first country in the world to legalize gay marriage and have welcomed refugees from the Middle East with mostly open arms. Hoekstra once claimed that there was chaos occurring in the Netherlands and Europe due to a secret jihad, “Cars are being set on fire. Politicians are being set on fire,” he said. Cars will be set on fire, if Hoekstra is approved by the Dutch government and confirmed by the Senate.

If nominated, Hoekstra will likely buddy up with fellow racist Geert Wilders and the two will parade around Amsterdam spewing racist chants in a sea of pink and purple.
